Maarten Oosterveld

At the Saxion university of professional education I obtained my undergraduate degree bachelor of business administration focused on real estate in 2006. During this curriculum I obtained some valuable practical experience during my internships at a VolkerWessels development company, Jones Lang LaSalle and Unibail-Rodamco. During my Master of Real Estate Studies at the University of Groningen I deepened my understanding of real estate investment, development and finance. Simultaneously I got involved with FRESH, participating in the Consultancy Week in Amsterdam and Study Trip to Shanghai in 2007. After having attended some other activities I gained some committee experience at FRESH. This made me even more enthusiastic and I decided to apply for a position in the board. As from September 2007 till September 2008 I served  as chairman of the board and again FRESH offered me a lot valuable and great experiences at various terrains. After my graduation assignment for the International Council of Shopping Centres I have started this summer as Reseach & Portfolio Analyst at Corio NV, a leading listed European retail fund that specializes in investing, developing and managing shopping centres throughout Europe. At the same time I was asked by the contemporary supervisory board to join them. Since September 2010 I hold the position as chairman of the supervisory board of FRESH. Main responsibilities are to point out and monitor the strategy of FRESH on the mid- and longterm. Additionally we advise and challenge the FRESH board and have to approve their budget-, forecast and management plans.

Rob Courtens

At the end of my study Real Estate Management and development at the University of Technology in Eindhoven I got actively involved with FRESH. At that time I thought of it as a chance to prepare for a professional life in a fun, instructive and professional way and participated in the board of FRESH 2006-2007. As a board member I have been responsible for its finances.
As a graduate I found my current job at IPD Netherlands at the Career website of FRESH. I work here as performance analyst since march 2010 and I find the experiences of my board membership of FRESH of very good use in my job today.
I’m honored to be asked to take place in the supervisory board of FRESH. In this way I  can continue contributing to this great foundation and stay committed in an active way. Within the board of directors I will supervise the foundations finances.

Michiel Boelens

During my study Corporate Real Estate Management at the Delft University of Technology, a friend got me in contact with FRESH. The multidisciplinary character immediately appealed to me, and soon made me decide to become an active member which resulted in presidency of the Company Relations Committee. What followed was an educational and fun year in which I participated in various FRESH activities including the study trip to Shanghai. After this year I decided to apply for the 2007-2008 FRESH board.

After my studies I started as a management trainee at Sodexo Altys, a full service facility management organisation. After completing the intensive eighteen month training program, I was hired as a real estate manager. In this function I advise our clients on strategic and tactical level regarding their real estate.

In 2011 I was asked to join the FRESH supervisory board. Because I’m convinced of the importance of FRESH for students and the value it can offer in their development and training, I gladly accepted the offer.

Elsbeth Smit

Geri J. Wijnen

I obtained both my bachelor in Architecture, Building & Planning and my master in Real Estate Management & Development from the Eindhoven University of Technology. During my bachelor studies I got acquainted with FRESH. During my master I decided to improve my knowledge on real estate and to orient myself on companies in the industry via FRESH. I did this by becoming active as the chairman of the Consultancy Week Committee 2008. A very fun and instructive experience, through which I got to know a lot of people and companies. During this period and as a result of several internships (Multi Corporation, Strabo and Unibail-Rodamco) I discovered my interest in retail. Therefore it was not surprising that after my graduation at the start of 2011 I joined Wereldhave, an internationally operating listed real estate investment company that has, in the Netherlands, a focus on retail. As a development manager I am involved with the redevelopment of two shopping centres. Since November 2012 I am a member of the Supervisory Board of FRESH.
