FRESH was founded in 1999, when several enthusiastic students of Maastricht University organized a study trip for all real estate students from the Netherlands to Chicago. The Study Trip is still one of the main activities FRESH.
FRESH's mission is to bring together students from a multitude of backgrounds who are interested in real estate and to inform them about opportunities in real estate during and after their studies. Therefore FRESH can be seen as a link between the academic world and the professional real estate sector.
FRESH achieves its purpose by organizing activities where students and real estate professionals come together. Over the years, FRESH has built a wide range of activities. These activities are the Consultancy Week, International Challenge, the In-House days with our partners, Excursions, the Provada Day, and our youngest activity: The Masterclass. The FRESH activities are organized in cooperation with a variety of sponsors.
The web activities of FRESH are threefold, first, the FRESH Students website with the activities, the FRESH Alumni website and the Career website. The FRESH Career website has an 'academic' part with a list of all real estate courses at both national and international universities. On the 'professional' section you will find vacancies for internships, junior and medior positions in the real estate industry.
Besides this FRESH publishes annually the FRESH Guide, a reference book that gives an overview of FRESH, our activities, information on real estate courses and company profiles of companies in the property sector. The FRESH Guide is available free to anyone interested in FRESH.
Each university student who is interested in real estate can become for free a member of FRESH. As a member of FRESH you get a free subscriptions to the professional journal PropertyEU. Through the weekly news mailing you will be informed about our activities, latest vacancies and get access to our online network to contact other members Student FRESH.
